Our online application is now CLOSED.

Stay tuned for exciting news on our NEW and ENHANCED application process for the 2010-2011 academic year!

Who can apply?
Any outstanding student having a GPA of 3.50 or higher, who is currently attending an eligible Datatel client site is encouraged to apply for the Datatel Scholars Foundation scholarship. Both full- and part-time students (at least six credit hours/term) are welcome to apply. The application is open to all majors and all levels of students (undergraduates and graduates).

Please only apply if you are currently attending AND plan to attend an eligible college or university during the academic year for which the scholarship is awarded.

What does the application lifecycle look like?

  1. Eligible students complete and submit their on-line application with two letters of recommendation by the posted deadline. (January 29th)
  2. Scholarship administrators at each participating client site review applications and nominate outstanding students. (February 1-19)
  3. Nominated students undergo final evaluation and awards selection. (March - May)
  4. Winners posted on the Datatel Scholars Foundation web page. (mid-May)
  5. Awards disbursements mailed. (July)

Who is the scholarship administrator who makes nominations at my school?

View a PDF file of our current list of scholarship administrators. We highly encourage all applicants to contact their scholarship administrator for specfic procedures regarding their nomination process. Although eligible, not all schools choose to nominate students or participate in this scholarship program. It is the applicant's responsibility to confirm their school's participation.
